The Cross Country Region meet was held at Salem Hills High School on October 12.

varsity athletes
The girls and boys varsity runners both took first in region. Our school dominated, especially for being a first year high school.
Rachael Warnick, daughter of Shauna and Karl Warnick, ran in the girls' varsity race, 'It was my best race. It was really fun." She commented.
Jonah Hadlock, son of Lyle and Jan Hadlock, ran in the boys' varsity race. "I was happy, I P.R.ed finally. My coaches said that it was a Jonah race, is what they called it. And it was way fun having Springville guys push me." He commented
Lindsay Schuring, daughter of Lisa and Dan Schuring, also ran in the girls' varsity race. "I thing that I did my best, and I am very proud of what I did." She commented.
Lance Merrill, son of Lana and Roger Merrill, ran in the boys varsity race. He really helped the varsity runners.
JV Zubs Athletes
The girls also won first in region, and the boys took second.
Brent strong, son of Jeff and Debbie Strong, ran in the boys JV race. "It was kick butt fun." He commented.
Kyrie Carpenter, daughter of Tom and Sandy Carpenter, ran in the girls JV race. She took first in this race, leading us to victory. "I felt great afterwards. I had to tell myself to keep on running." She commented.
Zach Fraser, son of James and Julie Fraser, also ran in the boys JV race. "I thought it was a great race. It was my first time, and I loved it. I will defiantly be back next year." He commented.
Lauren Nabahe, daughter of Glade and sherry Hulet, also ran in the girls JV race. "It was fun." She commented.
