The Peteetneet Museum needs volunteers to act as Tour Guides for the museum tours. If you can give three hours once a week, call Sandra Armstrong at (801)465-4098 and let her know you are interested and when you would be available. You can also call the museum at (801)465-5265 and leave your name and Mrs. Armstrong will contact you. Volunteers are needed from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. and from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday each week.

If you can come only periodically, we need the services of substitutes in case one of the regular volunteers is unable to keep their schedule that week. We look forward to you joining a great group of dedicated volunteers that are now serving at Peteetneet.

The museum is also seeking a donation of a folding wheelchair. Even with our new elevator to access all three levels of the building, we have some elderly visitors that are unable to complete all of the tour because they are unable to stand long enough to see all of the exhibits. A wheelchair would make it possible for these individuals to complete and enjoy the tours. If you have a wheelchair you would like to donate, call the museum and we would even be happy to have someone come and pick it up it you are unable to get it to the Peteetneet.

The Peteetneet Museum would like to thank all the individuals that have donated their time and resources that have made our facility the wonderful place that you see today. Come and join us and share this grand old building with us.
