State health officials are reporting five swine flu-related deaths in the last two weeks in Utah.

The Utah Department of Health said Wednesday the deaths included one man and one woman between 25 and 49, one man and one woman between 50 and 64 and one woman 65 or older.

That brings the number of deaths in Utah related to the H1N1 virus to 19 this year.

The department also says there have been 698 hospitalizations associated with both the seasonal flu and swine flu this season.

The department says the current level of influenza activity and the number of hospitalizations is greater than unusual for this time of year.
