It is no shame to lose to a vastly better team while kicking and clawing to the very end. Heart can outclass speed any day. However, when you quit making maximum effort after the first set of downs as BYU did against both Florida State and TCU at home, that is a tragic, shameful, exhibition of no heart at all.

If a player doesn't want to give a full/maximum effort in a crucial game, it is time to send in the subs who will. Shame on you and us for thinking we had a stadium full of big hearted cougars. We can do so much better!!
