Mapleton Jr. High students and faculty held a fundraiser for the Make-a-Wish Foundation to raise money to send children with terminal illnesses on a dream vacation.

To persuade the students to donate money, some of the faculty and members of the student government are doing dares if the school raises enough money.

Teachers have agreed to wear sweats for a week, to play Chubby Bunny (a game where you try and put as many marshmallows in your mouth and then say "Chubby Bunny"), to dive into pudding, buzz or shave their heads, get an orange tan, eat pickled pig's feet, dress up and dance, eat an earth worm, and Mrs. Adams has even agreed to let the student who donates the most money cut her hair.

Some of the students are doing dares also. Some of the really exciting dares are Marley Chamberlain is going to drink an entire bottle of ketchup. Lexie Ball is going to drink a whole bottle of mustard. Liz Slack is going to eat cow tongue, and Megan Elmont is going to kiss a goat.

Mitch Budge and Garrett Clark are going to wax their legs. The student government will hold an assembly during which all of the dares will be performed. Not only will it be entertaining for the student body, but it will be for a good cause.
