Michael Snelson, president of Snelson PhotoColor Lab in Springville, was been awarded the Professional Photographers of America National Award for meritorious contributions to professional photography. This prestigious award is given to members of the photographic community for contributions to the industry that further professionalism and craftsmanship in photography.
Snelson was presented with the award on Oct. 27 at the Intermountain Professional Photographers Association convention in Layton, Utah, by professional photographer and last year's recipient, Mark Bowers of Bowers Photography in American Fork. Snelson was honored with the presence of ten former recipients of the award including Snelson's parents, Ralph and Janet Snelson.
Snelson PhotoColor Lab, 80 W. Center, Springville, serves professional photographers and photo enthusiasts locally and around the country.
