Jared Aaron Tippetts
MT. PLEASANT-- Jared Aaron Tippetts, 32, loving husband and father, returned home to his Heavenly Father Tuesday July 7, 2009, following a courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at home in the presence of his wife and family.
He was born August 6, 1976,in Las Vegas, NV; to Joan and Aaron Tippetts.
He married the love of his life, Paula Smith, June 19, 1999, in the Manti LDS Temple, where they were sealed for time and all eternity.
He was a member of the LDS Church who served a full time mission in Tampa, Florida; and had a very strong testimony of the gospel throughout his life.
His most important calling in life was that of husband and father. Nothing was more important to him than spending time with his family.
He worked many years as a Journeyman plumber and pipe fitter in Las Vegas and most recently, Master welder and maintenance for the LDS Church in Salt Lake City.
He was an extremely hard worker and put his whole heart into anything he did.
He is survived by his wife, Paula; children: Caitlin 8; Ashlie 7; Kelsie 4 and Hyrum, 1; parents, Aaron and Joan Tippetts; brothers, Rodger; Tony (Kelly); Aaron (Mindy) and sisters, Allyson (Marty); Zina (Bradley); Erica (Aaron).
He was preceded in death by his older sister, Michelle. Funeral Services will be held at Noon, Saturday, July 11, in the Mt Pleasant Third LDS Ward, 295 South State Street.
A viewing will be held Friday, July 10 from 6 to 8 p.m., at Rasmussen Mortuary, 96 North 100 West; and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 11, at the church prior to services.
The family wishes to express their thanks to all those who helped them through this difficult time.
