MISS JUAB COUNTY SCHOLARSHIP PAGEANT AUGUST 3rd
The Juab County Fair will host the Miss Juab County Scholarship Pageant on Monday, August 3rd when the new Miss Juab County 2009 will be crowned. The pageant will be held in the Jr. High School Auditorium at 7:00 p.m
Seven contestants will vie for the title: Kelsie Andersen, daughter of Kelly & Koye Andersen of Nephi. Her talent will be ballroom dancing. Kelsie is attending Snow college to become a nurse. Jessica Lynn, daughter of Brett & Tammy Lynn of Mona. Her talent will be a piano solo. Jessica plans on graduating from Acaydia School of Aesthetics, establish and operate her own spa. Sadie Connelley, daughter of Dewain & Wendy Connelley of Mona. She plans on going to Snow College and then an art school. Jaden Jackson, daughter of Bart & Carmen Jackson of Nephi. Jaden will perform a lyrical dance. She plans on attending Snow College and then furthering her education in physical therapy at the University of Utah. Chelsie Baxter, daughter of Pat & DeAnn Baxter of Nephi. She will do a hip hop dance number for her talent. Chelsea plans on attending Utah Valley University to achieve her goal to become a radiologist. Merissa Stutz, daughter of Brian & Shalene Stutz of Mammoth. She will perform a vocal solo. She plans on attending college and pursuing a career in juvenile justice. Caley Bussian, daughter of Bryan & Linda Bussian of Mona. Her talent will be a vocal solo. Her plans are to attend Frontier School of the Bible in Wyoming.

The contestants will perform their talent, model evening gowns and 'All American Girl' wear, give a personal thought and answer an on stage question at the pageant. Whitney Lundell, Miss Juab County 2008, and her attendants, Aubrey Ballow and Janelle Lund will crown the new royalty. It will be a night filled with lots of talent and entertainment as we bring in this year's county fair. The public is invited to attend, free of charge.
The new 2009 royalty will reign over the fair week festivities, August 4 - 8th.
