There will be a District 56 Republican Issues Forum on Thursday at Rockwell Charter High School in Eagle Mountain, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
The 6 to 7 p.m. session of the meeting will focus on county party business and is directed specifically to precinct chairs and vice chairs, although anyone is welcome to attend.
From 7 to 8:30 p.m., state Rep. Kenneth Sumsion, R-American Fork; state Sen. Mark Madsen, R-Eagle Mountain; and state Sen. Howard Stephenson, R-Draper; will be addressing those in attendance about upcoming legislative issues. In addition, those who attend will be discussing the Patrick Henry Caucus, Utah Lake bridge, government ethics initiative and the Fair Boundaries initiative.
