Second-grade students at Foothill Elementary in Orem perform their annual Halloween show for the rest of the school Thursday.
Every year since the school opened in 1999, the second grade class at Foothill Elementary has put on two performances of their Halloween show for fellow students in the morning and parents in the evening. "The parents have really enjoyed it and have encouraged us to keep doing it," teacher Peggy Carter said. Participants in costume read poetry, sang songs, performed in skits and told plenty of jokes to entertain a packed gymnasium of teachers and fellow students. "As long as [the students] have a part they're happy," Carter said.
