SALT LAKE CITY -- Sarah Palin will visit Salt Lake City next month to promote her new book, "Going Rogue."

The former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate will be at a Costco in Salt Lake City on Dec. 9 from noon to 3 p.m.

Palin kicked off her book tour Wednesday in Michigan. The memoir was released Tuesday.

Salt Lake Costco Manager Kevin Campbell says he expects a big crowd to turn out for Palin's stop in Utah, traditionally a Republican stronghold.
