Governor's Office of Economic Development names two new members -- The Business Development Board of the Governor's Office of Economic Development named Rob Adams and Peter Mouskondis as two new members.

Adams currently serves as executive director for the Beaver County Economic Development Corp., where he has helped attract large scale renewable energy generation projects to Beaver County. Formerly, Adams, who has an MBA from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University, served as the vice president of operations for the Cattle Feeding Division of Continental Grain Co.in Chicago and as general manager for Circle Four Farms in Milford.

Mouskondis is president and chief executive of Nicholas & Co. He has served as a Westminster College Foundation Board member, and also served on the Independent Marketing Alliance Board. He graduated from University of Utah with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Greek.

Bank of American Fork names new Highland manager -- Todd Penovich was promoted to Highland branch manager at Bank of American Fork. Penovich was most recently a loan officer at the bank's Alpine branch for eight years, and prior to that, served at Zions Bank and First Interstate.

Salt Lake City law firm names new attorneys -- The Salt Lake City law office of Strong & Hanni added two attorneys, James W. Stewart and Richard J. Patterson.

Stewart joins Strong & Hanni as a shareholder of the Employment and Commercial Litigation practice group and Patterson joins as an associate of the Business, Real Estate and Estate Planning group.

Stewart has more than 26 years of experience assisting clients with employment and labor advice and litigation as well as other complex litigation matters. He represents clients in complex litigation including employment and labor, contract and business disputes, unfair competition, trade secrets, business defamation and securities. He received his B.A. in Political Science in 1975 along with his M.B.A. and J.D. in 1981 from Brigham Young University. He was admitted to practice law in Utah in 1983.

Patterson works with businesses of all sizes through entity formation, financing, contract negotiations and acquisitions and dispositions. He has represented real estate developers and investors in land purchases, permitting, financing, construction contracts, leasing and purchase & sale transactions. He received his B.A. in Economics from Brigham Young University in 1996 and his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1999. He was admitted to practice law in California in 2000 and Utah in 2009.
